Latest Success for The Stagecoach Agency

Jack Butcher, 12, who attends Stagecoach Dorking, is the latest student to be cast in the hugely popular production of "Oliver!" at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. When he joins that prestigious company, he'll also become part of another illustrious group - those students from Stagecoach who, between them, have appeared in every single West End musical where there are children in the cast.

Jack, and currently 6 other boys [some have recently had their contracts renewed], are just the latest to appear in "Oliver!" During recent times the Stagecoach Agency has also secured roles, some of them main ones, in "Les Miserables", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Mary Poppins", "The Lion King", "The Sound of Music" and "Billy Elliot".

But it's not just on the West End stage that Stagecoachers have triumphed. During the last two months other theatre credits have included appearances at The Globe and in the national tours of "Les Miserables", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "The Sound of Music", "Carousel", "Quadrophenia", "Macbeth" and "Thriller" in which 11 year old "MJ" Mytton from Stagecoach Wolverhampton plays the young Michael Jackson.

Stagecoachers are nothing if not versatile. In other branches of the media the latest news is that Ankush Khanna, 17, from Stagecoach Aylesbury is off to Mumbai to co-star in an A-list Bollywood movie "Patiala House", Joshua Swinney, 11, from Stagecoach Wimbledon has just recorded the lead role of Emile in "Emile and the Detectives" for Radio 4 and Mae Moorbath, 12, from Stagecoach Oxford continues to feature in the BT ads.

Soon to be seen on the small screen 14 year old Chahak Patel from Stagecoach Harrow will be reprising his leading role in "Survivors" for the new series, Niamh Rose Smyth, 4, from Stagecoach Cheam appears with Lindsay Duncan in a forthcoming episode of "Miss Marple" and Miffy Englefield, 10, from Stagecoach Winchester, who had a staring role in the film "Holiday" with Jude Law, has now joined the regular cast of "Casualty" as Jessica Harrison's daughter Amelia.

While on television this autumn the faces and voices of many more talented young performers from Stagecoach can be seen and heard in a range of roles from "Poirot" to "Peppa Pig".

The Stagecoach Agency UK & Ireland is Europe's largest children's and young performers' agency, representing over 1,500 Stagecoach students aged between 4 to 20. So far this year it has put students forward for over 20,000 professional jobs and had over 5,000 auditions and bookings.
